Abstract
Dyskinetic cilia syndrome is an uncommon disorder, with an autosomal recessive mode of inheritance. Defect in mucociliary transport is due to immotile or dyskinetic beating of cilia. Electron microscopic finding of cilia of sperm tails, nasal and
bronchial epithelium of patients revealed the partial or complete abscence of dynein arms.
This patient diagnosed as a dyskinetic cillia syndrome by electron microscopy of cilia of nasal mucosa. He also had squamous cell carcinoma of the lung(stage I). he improved with conservative therapy. But he refused operation. We report a case of
dyskinetic cilia syndrome with squamous cell carcinom of the lung.
